Location: NPS Headquarters (WASO), 1849 C Street NW, Washington, DC 20240
Clearance: Must pass NACI background investigation

Overview

Cornerstone is seeking a FOIA Analyst to support the National Park Service FOIA program at headquarters in Washington, DC. The Analyst will intake and track FOIA requests, conduct detailed document review, and prepare compliant release packages.

Responsibilities

Monitor FOIAXpress and other intake sources for new requests; input and assign case numbers.

Work with FOIA Officers and stakeholders to coordinate record searches.

Review records for responsiveness, apply exemptions, and redact as required.

Create and maintain Vaughn indices when needed.

Prepare release packages that are fully Section 508 compliant.

Draft request acknowledgments, updates, and final correspondence.

Maintain accurate electronic case files and tracking systems.

Support FOIA-related litigation by preparing records packages.

Provide weekly progress reports to the COR and attend review meetings.

Qualifications

Associate’s degree or equivalent.

Expert certifications in Microsoft Word and Adobe Acrobat.

Demonstrated proficiency in Section 508 accessibility compliance.

Minimum 3 years of FOIA processing experience in a federal setting.

Skilled with FOIAXpress, Adobe Pro DC, and Microsoft Office Suite.

Excellent written and oral communication skills.

Compensation: $68,000.00 - $82,000.00 per year
