FOIA Analyst – Lakewood, CO (Denver Metro)

Location: NPS Regional Office, 12795 West Alameda Parkway, Lakewood, CO 80228
Clearance: Must pass NACI background investigation

Overview

Cornerstone is hiring a FOIA Analyst in Lakewood, CO to process FOIA requests, perform records reviews, and prepare Section 508-compliant release packages. The Analyst will ensure accuracy, timeliness, and legal compliance in all FOIA casework.

Responsibilities

Intake and track FOIA requests using FOIAXpress, mail, and email.

Coordinate with regional offices to collect responsive records.

Review records, apply FOIA exemptions, and redact sensitive information.

Assemble final release packages and ensure 100% accessibility compliance.

Draft acknowledgment, interim, and final correspondence.

Prepare case documentation, including Vaughn indices and litigation support packages.

Maintain organized electronic FOIA files and perform data quality checks.

Submit weekly reports and participate in status meetings with leadership.

Qualifications

Associate’s degree or equivalent experience.

Expert-level certification in Microsoft Word and Adobe Acrobat.

Proven Section 508 knowledge, including creating compliant fillable forms.

At least 3 years of FOIA or federal records processing experience.

Proficiency in FOIAXpress, MS Office, and Adobe Acrobat.

Strong organizational and communication skills.

Compensation: $62,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
