Description

The Food & Beverage (F&B) Administrator is  responsible for supporting the operational, financial, administrative, and people-development functions of the F&B department. This role leads the training and development of all team members, supervisors, and chefs, including the design and execution of ongoing programs focused on technical skills, guest service excellence, and leadership development, as well as onboarding all new hires. The F&B Administrator partners with leadership to support and complete Pay for Performance reviews, provides guidance on internal HR matters including coaching and team member development, and ensures compliance through accurate reporting and recordkeeping. Additionally, this role oversees guest recognition initiatives by tracking compliments and leading departmental programs, while maintaining all team member online files and documentation.

Starting salary is $57,800 based on experience



Responsibilities
  • Coordinate and facilitate training for all new hires within the Food & Beverage Department, including New Hire onboarding processes, training materials, and support of recruitment efforts.

  • Support the development of food and guest service management competencies across all levels of the department.

  • Design, develop, and organize departmental training programs to enhance operational effectiveness and service consistency.

  • Evaluate employee performance through analysis of guest service comment cards, guest survey data, and direct observation of service standards; administer and support employee recognition through internal recognition programs.

  • Develop, maintain, and annually update comprehensive training manuals tailored to each position and outlet within the department.

  • Create and administer position-specific assessments for hourly team members to ensure knowledge retention and performance readiness.

  • Maintain accurate and compliant employee records by scanning and uploading training materials, coaching documentation, and Pay for Performance reviews into employee files.

  • Lead and support management and culinary leadership in the Pay for Performance process, including coordinating performance evaluations, documenting outcomes, and ensuring timely completion and file maintenance for both hourly employees and leadership reviews.

  • Provide administrative oversight and coordination for all aspects of departmental training, development, and team member support initiatives.

  • Participate in and support company-sponsored internal and external events as needed.

  • Ensure assigned projects, reporting, and administrative deliverables are completed accurately and within established timelines.

  • Provide administrative and operational support to the Director of Hospitality as assigned.

  • Maintain open and consistent communication with the leadership team to ensure alignment on priorities and departmental needs.

  • Maintain regular, reliable, and predictable attendance in support of departmental operations.

  • Perform additional duties and responsibilities assigned to support business needs.
