Food & Beverage Director

North Fork Tavern at Minnesota National Golf Club & Resort is looking for a hands-on Food & Beverage Director to lead our restaurant and bar operations. This role is ideal for someone who likes being on the floor, jumping in when needed, leading by example, and building a strong team culture while keeping a close eye on costs and service.

This is not a desk-only role — we’re looking for a working manager who enjoys hospitality, problem-solving in real time, and being part of daily operations.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Actively manage day-to-day restaurant and bar operations
   
• Lead by example on the floor — supporting staff during service when needed
   
• Hire, train, coach, and schedule food & beverage team members
   
• Manage labor, payroll, and staffing levels week-to-week
   
• Oversee ordering, inventory, and vendor relationships
   
• Maintain food, beverage, and labor cost controls
   
• Work with the kitchen and leadership team on menus, pricing, and specials
   
• Ensure a consistently welcoming guest experience
   
• Uphold health, safety, and alcohol compliance standards
   

What We’re Looking For

• 3+ years in restaurant or food & beverage management
   
• Strong leadership with a team-first mindset
   
• Comfortable multitasking in a fast-paced, service-focused environment
   
• Solid understanding of labor management and cost control
   
• Experience in golf, resort, or seasonal hospitality is a plus
   
• Flexible availability including weekends, evenings, and peak season
