Job Description - Food & Beverage Manager

Description

Are you a dynamic leader passionate about creating exceptional dining experiences? We’re looking for an experienced Food & Beverage Manager to oversee our restaurants, bars, and event venues. In this hands-on leadership role, you’ll work closely with your team and peers to deliver outstanding service, ensure operational excellence, and drive financial success.

This is a full-time, exempt position scheduled to work evening shifts from 3:00 PM to 11:00 PM. The ideal candidate must be available to work weekdays, weekends, and holidays as business needs require.  Benefits include health insurance, dental, vision, short-term disability, long-term disability, life and AD&D insurance, Paid Time Off, paid holidays, and a 401k with company match.

Essential Job Duties:

  • Lead, motivate, and support a high-performing food & beverage team.
     
  • Hire, train, schedule, coach, and conduct regular performance reviews.
     
  • Monitor guest satisfaction and resolve issues with professionalism and care.
     
  • Oversee budgets, labor, inventory, and supplies to meet financial goals.
     
  • Ensure daily operations comply with health, safety, and ABC laws and regulations.
     
  • Develop and implement new promotions, policies, and procedures.
     
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and secure work environment.
     
  • Collaborate with the Food & Beverage Director on forecasting and planning.

Requirements

  • One year experience in a food & beverage management role (restaurant, resort, private club, etc.)
     
  • Strong leadership, problem-solving, and budgeting skills.
     
  • Creative thinker with a customer-first mindset and a positive attitude.
     
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
     
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
     
  • High school diploma or GED required; post-secondary education in hospitality a plus.

Physical Requirements:

  • Must be able to stand, walk, bend, and lift up to 50 lbs.
     
  • Comfortable working long shifts in a fast-paced, hot, and humid environment.
     
  • Ability to speak clearly and professionally with guests and team members.
