Job Description:

SUMMARY: 
Responsible for ensuring all operations of the Food & Beverage Department and Team Member performances are in compliance with the Company’s objectives and Gaming Regulations. 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following:

Interacts effectively with the public and Team Members.  Performs excellent customer service at all time.

•    Enforces performance standards and all Company Policy and Procedures as they relate to the Food & Beverage department in the venue and casino floor.

•    Ensures smooth and efficient operations on a continual basis.

•    Ensures that the highest possible standards of customer services and Team Member relations are maintained and carried out in a fair and equitable manner.
•    Complies with all food and beverage health, liquor and safety regulations as well as all federal, states and local applicable laws. 
•    Reviews financial statements; forecasts revenue and labor figures for food and beverage department; maintain proper inventory control.

•    Provides input to Director of Food and Beverage and Assistant Director of Food & Beverage concerning operational deficiencies and areas in need of attention.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:    

Directly supervises Food and Beverage assistant managers, supervisors; and indirectly supervises all other venue Team Members.

Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization’s policies and applicable laws.  Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training Team Members; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining Team Members; addressing complaints and resolving problems. 

QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS: 

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. 

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:
Four-year college degree in Business Administration or Food & Beverage Management preferred.  Minimum of five years experience working at management level in high volume/fast paced Food and Beverage departments or Casino environment preferred.  

SPECIAL QUALIFICATIONS:

Skilled at POS, Excel, Word and Time and Attendance software.  Appropriate Licenser. Strong organizational and interpersonal skills required.
