We’re looking for a hands-on, service-driven Food & Beverage Manager to help lead daily operations across our culinary and beverage offerings. This role supports the execution of elevated, yet approachable hospitality- bringing warmth, precision, and genuine care to everything we do. 

What You’ll Do

  • Oversee multiple dining venues including a restaurant, lounge, bar, and in-residence dining services, ensuring a seamless, elevated guest experience that aligns with luxury private club standards.
  • Lead, mentor, and develop a front-of-house team with a focus on service excellence, professional growth, and operational consistency.
  • Ensure every guest interaction feels personal and exceptional. Step in to resolve service concerns with grace and urgency.
  • Work cross-functionally with the culinary team, events, and housekeeping to create seamless guest experiences for regular dining and special occasions.
  • Help uphold service protocols, cleanliness, presentation standards, and compliance with food safety regulations.
  • Assist with scheduling, inventory control, labor management, and budget adherence for the F&B department.
  • Conduct regular performance evaluations, provide feedback, and implement development plans to enhance team performance.
  • Develop and execute marketing initiatives to promote F&B offerings and increase revenue.
  • Plan and coordinate special events, banquets, and private functions, ensuring exceptional service and guest satisfaction.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to create promotional materials and campaigns. 
  • Maintain accurate records of inventory, ordering, and financial transactions.
  • Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations, including health codes and liquor laws.
  • Prepare and submit reports on F&B performance, including sales, expenses, and guest feedback.
  • Lead, mentor, and develop a front-of-house team with a focus on service excellence, professional growth, and operational consistency.
  • Partner with the Executive Chef and Beverage Manager (if applicable) to design seasonal menus, signature beverage offerings, and wine programs reflective of the Hill Country terroir and Loraloma’s luxury ethos.
  • Act as a visible, hands-on leader during peak service periods, high-profile events, and VIP guest visits, setting the standard for service and engagement.

Requirements

  1. A high school diploma or equivalent required; a degree in Hospitality, Culinary Management, or related field preferred.
  2. Minimum of 5 years’ progressive leadership experience in food & beverage management within a luxury resort, private club, or fine dining environment, with a proven record of operational excellence, financial performance, and team development.
  3. A passion for meaningful service, team mentorship, and detail-oriented operations.
  4. The ability to anticipate needs, solve problems quickly, and lead by example.
  5. Familiarity with point-of-sale systems, scheduling software, and F&B inventory tools.
  6. Certification in food safety and alcohol service (e.g. ServSafe, TIPS) preferred
  7. Demonstrated ability to lead multi-outlet operations, manage budgets and deliver personalized, anticipatory guest experiences.
  8. Strong knowledge of wine, spirits, mixology trends, and culinary fundamentals, with a passion for curating elevated yet      approachable dining experiences.
