Food & Beverage Manager

A position has arisen for a Manager in our Bar Lounge and Cafe situated in our country park feel holiday park on the coast. This would be ideal for an experienced Catering Supervisor who wants to move into a managerial role. Alternatively, a couple, where one is a Manager/Catering Supervisor and the other has transferable skills to be utilised within Bar Lounge and Café or in other areas of our holiday park. This position has on-site accommodation in the form of a house. Alternatively, an electric pitch for your own touring caravan/motorhome.

The role is varied and your responsibilities will include:

Day-to-day operations for front of house food and beverage

· Training and inspiring your team to provide a professional, friendly, and good quality of service

· Food led ‘hands on’ role, as you will be working in the kitchen to cover for other staff

· Planning menus and their costs

· Handle customer complaints and issues

· Liaising with the park’s management team

· Staff rotas

· Dealing with suppliers and managing stock rotation

· Adhere to all food safety and sanitation regulations

· Manage cellar and stores, ensuring cleanliness and safe storage of goods

Your qualities ideally

· Experience in a similar role

· Food Hygiene Level 2

· Personal Licence (ideally)

· Warm and welcoming persona, along with a hands-on approach to work and with attention to detail.

· Initiative and strong communication and organisation skills

· Enable to stay calm within a fast-paced environment

· Resilience, as it can be long days in the main season

· Flexible in your working hours as this will include bank holidays, weekends, and nights
