Schedule: 1st Shift – Hours to be discussed. (Overtime and weekends as needed)

Pangea Reptile is one of the largest breeders of captive-bred geckos and the producer of the #1 crested gecko food in the country. As we continue to grow, we're expanding our Food Production Department and are seeking a dedicated, detail-oriented Food Production Associate to join our team.

Position Summary:
As a Food Production Associate, you will be responsible for producing our Pangea Complete Crested Gecko Diet. Key duties include assembling equipment, measuring and packaging product, labeling, inspecting quality, and preparing items for inventory and distribution. Success in this role requires a strong focus on safety, teamwork, efficiency, and quality.
Key Responsibilities:
- Measure, weigh, and fill bags for packaging
- Assemble and maintain production equipment
- Seal, label, and inspect containers to ensure quality standards are met
- Transport finished goods to designated inventory locations
- Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) accurately
- Maintain a clean and sterile work environment
- Prioritize tasks effectively in collaboration with the team
- Participation in annual full inventory audit
- Willingness to cross-train in other departments as needed

- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Effective communication skills
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
- Reliable, with excellent attendance
- Capable of solving problems and working both independently and as part of a team
- Basic math and literacy skills
Physical Demands:
- Ability to stand, walk, sit, and use hands regularly
- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs occasionally
- Work may involve exposure to hazardous equipment and conditions
- Ability to work in extreme temperatures and around distracting or uncomfortable noise levels
Work Environment:
- Must be able to remain calm and productive in high-pressure situations
- Willingness to work overtime and occasional weekends as required
