Food Receiver/Dishwasher (Mon-Fri/No nights or weekends)

We are looking for a dynamic team member who can take on multiple roles including prep cooking, dishwashing, and food receiving. Key Responsibilities:

• Wash dishes, glassware, and kitchen utensils using both dishwashers and manual methods.
• Keep the kitchen and work areas clean and organized.
• Store clean dishes and cooking equipment properly.
• Assist in food preparation, including cutting and cleaning various food items.
• Help receive and store food deliveries, adhering to food safety standards.
• Maintain cleanliness in the dining and service areas.
• Engage with guests, providing a friendly and welcoming environment.
• Follow all safety and sanitation guidelines as prescribed by regulatory bodies.

Skills and Qualifications:

• Experience in a high-volume kitchen preferred.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• Familiarity with kitchen equipment and safety/sanitation regulations.
• Knowledge of various types of food, with the ability to accurately identify items while receiving orders.
• Proficient knife skills, as the position involves food preparation.
• Must possess a valid Food Handler’s Certificate.

Physical Requirements:

• Capable of lifting up to 50 lbs and moving kitchen equipment.
• Comfortable standing for extended periods and performing repetitive tasks.
• Ability to safely navigate the kitchen and café areas, which may involve bending, kneeling, or climbing as needed.

Work Environment:

• Fast-paced and high-pressure kitchen setting.
• Exposure to kitchen equipment, heat, steam, and cleaning chemicals.
