Job Description - Food Runner

Overview

Best food runner job! 16.00 hr + tips no late nights no early mornings. Windsor Cay Resort!

Responsibilities

Deliver food and beverages from the kitchen to guests quickly, accurately, and with a smile.

Double-check orders for accuracy, presentation, and special requests before leaving the kitchen.

Communicate clearly with servers, kitchen staff, and management to keep service running smoothly.

Assist with table resets, clearing plates, and maintaining a clean, organized service area.

Support the team during peak hours by anticipating needs and jumping in wherever help is needed.

Uphold food safety and sanitation standards at all times.

Qualifications

Education: High school diploma or equivalent preferred, but not required.

Experience: Previous experience in a restaurant or hospitality setting is a plus, but willing to train the right candidate.

Skills & Abilities:

Strong communication and active listening skills.

Ability to work quickly and efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Excellent attention to detail to ensure accurate and timely food delivery.

Strong teamwork skills and a positive, professional attitude.

Ability to multitask and prioritize under pressure.

Physical Requirements:

Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.

Comfortable carrying trays and plates of varying weights.

Ability to navigate crowded dining areas safely and efficiently.

Other Requirements:

Flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness and food safety.
