Glens Falls Country Club is seeking a dependable, energetic, and team-oriented Food Runner to join our hospitality team. Job Summary:

The Glens Falls Country Club Food Runner will deliver food to members/guests at their table. The Food Runner will also assist in the below responsibilities. 

Job Duties/Responsibilities:

• Taking food from the kitchen to customers' tables.
• Communicating with wait staff.
• Carrying food to the right table.
• Helping with cleanup.
• Stocking supplies.
• Keeping dining areas clean.
• Ensure food is served in accordance with safety standards
• Remove dirty dishes and utensils
• Providing great customer service

Required Skills/Abilities: 

• Knowledge of cleanliness and hygiene standards for front-of-house maintenance
• Familiarity with the food and beverage menu
• Attention to detail in clearing and resetting tables
• Ability to multitask and assist wait staff during busy periods
• Efficient in handling cleaning tasks to maintain a tidy dining environment

Education and Experience:

• Must be at least sixteen years old (at least 21 years old to serve alcoholic beverages).
• Previous experience as a hostess preferred.
• Must successfully complete restaurant training course.

Physical Requirements: 

• Prolonged periods of standing and walking.
• Must be able to lift, balance, and carry trays of food weighing up to 25 pounds.
