Food Safety Intern - Join a Market Leader

This Food Safety Intern will have the opportunity to work with the food safety director and the plant team to conduct trials on cutting edge food safety technology; analyze data and present results to FEX Senior Leadership.

Required Skills:

• Must be detail-oriented and organized.
• Must have good problem-solving skills.
• Have good verbal and written communication skills to explain results to others.
• Able to handle multiple projects in a fast paced, multi-disciplinary environment.
• Must have knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word and Excel).
• Capable of working in refrigerated environments.
• Ability to work flexible hours when necessary and must be able to dedicate 40 hours a week to this position.

Required Education:

• Pursuing B.S. degree and studying a scientific discipline linked to Food Science, Nutrition, Dietetics, Agriculture, or candidates with educational background of food laws or regulatory compliance.
