Child Focus is seeking an experienced Food Program Assistant to support the operation of our kitchen and food delivery services. This role plays a vital part in Head Start, Early Head Start, and Child Care classrooms by preparing, assembling, and delivering meals to both onsite and offsite locations.

Key responsibilities include:

• Supporting daily kitchen operations and meal delivery.
• Purchasing, maintaining, and keeping accurate records of food and supply inventory.
• Assisting with meal planning and ensuring safe food handling and sanitation practices.
• Ensuring compliance with all Child and Adult Care Food Program (CACFP) licensing, health, standards and regulations.

Requirements

Degree Required: High School Diploma or GED. 

Additional Requirements: Required to obtain and maintain ServSafe credentialing.
