Food Service Coordinator

Children's Aid Society seeks an organized Food Service Coordinator to prepare and serve breakfast, lunch, and dinner for our daily students and residents. 

Schedule: Monday - Friday 6:30 am - 3:00 pm

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and deliver daily meals to classrooms, dining areas and/or off-site facilities


• Be responsible for daily cleanup and food storage before and after serving


• Plans and follows monthly rotating meal menus, making sure appropriate alternatives are given for food allergies


• Responsible for weekly inventory and supply planning; Plans and prepares cooking experiences for students throughout the school year.

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or equivalent required; a degree or diploma in Culinary Arts, Restaurant Management, Nutrition or related field preferred


• At least 2 years of experience working in food service
  


• Safe Serve certification is required within 60 days of hire


• A criminal background check and a health physical are required
