Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Food Service Director to oversee daily operations food service programs in Niagara County. The ideal candidate is a strong leader who is passionate about nutrition, compliance, and team development.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage the overall operations of school food service program 
• Hire, train, and supervise kitchen managers and food service staff 
• Develop menus in accordance with nutritional guidelines and student preferences
• Monitor food and supply inventories, ordering, and budget adherence
• Ensure accurate and timely completion of payroll, production records, and reporting
• Build positive relationships with school administrators, staff, and students
• Implement customer service and quality assurance standards
• Lead with a hands-on approach to team leadership and operational excellence

 Qualifications:

• Minimum 3–5 years of experience in food service management 
• Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills  
• ServSafe Certification required (or ability to obtain upon hire)  
• Culinary degree or equivalent experience preferred  
• Must pass a New York State background check
