Food Service General Manager

About the Role

Premier Global Links LLC is seeking an experienced Food Service General Manager to lead high-volume food service operations in Nashville, Tennessee.

This leadership opportunity is ideal for a hands-on food service professional with contract dining experience, strong team management capabilities, and a proven ability to manage operational and financial performance. The successful candidate will oversee daily dining operations, develop employees, maintain service quality, and build productive relationships with clients and customers.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee daily food service operations to ensure high standards of quality, efficiency, and customer satisfaction.
• Lead, coach, motivate, and develop employees while fostering a positive and productive team culture.
• Manage staffing, employee performance evaluations, hiring decisions, and team development.
• Establish operational priorities, set performance expectations, and allocate resources effectively.
• Manage budgets, labor costs, food costs, and overall financial performance.
• Monitor operational results and implement improvements to achieve business goals.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, customers, and internal stakeholders.
• Ensure consistent service standards across assigned food service operations.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve service delivery and operational efficiency.
• Support employee engagement, retention, and professional development initiatives.

Required Qualifications

• 2–5 years of management experience.
• 2–5 years of relevant food service or hospitality operations experience.
• Previous experience in contract dining is required.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience.
• Experience managing a high-volume food service operation or dining unit.
• Strong knowledge of budgeting, cost control, and financial performance analysis.
• Proven ability to lead, motivate, and develop teams.
• Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to build effective client relationships and collaborate across departments.
• Hands-on, results-oriented leadership approach in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience managing multi-site food service accounts.
• Previous Food Service Director or General Manager experience.
• Background managing large, complex, or high-volume dining operations.
• Experience in institutional dining, corporate dining, or other contract food service environments.
• Demonstrated success in improving employee engagement, service quality, and operational performance.

Compensation and Benefits

• Annual base salary: $90,000–$110,000
