FOOD SERVICES SUPERVISOR - Greenwood Care, Evanston, IL

Greenwood Care, a Specialized Mental Health Rehabilitation Facility (SMHRF), in Evanston, IL, Seeks a Full Time, Food Services Supervisor. We Offer you a Salary of between $48k and $52k, with a Full Benefit Package, including 401k w/Company Match, Choice of Health Insurance plans, Health Savings Account, and Much More!

Responsibilities of the Food Services Supervisor:

• Ensure the use of standardized recipes in food preparation
• Establish dietary policies in conjunction with the Dietary Consultant
• Assessments and nutritional charting
• Order all food and kitchen supplies
• Supervise the receipt and storage of kitchen deliveries
• Oversee and control food and labor costs Ensure proper maintenance of all food service equipment
• Maintain an organized, safe storage room

Requirements

of the Food Services Supervisor

• CDM (Certified Dietary Manager) Certification or ability to obtain within 12 months of hire
• Sanitation Certification
• Experience in a long-term care and/or healthcare facility 
• Strong administrative, managerial and interpersonal skills
• Maintain confidentiality of residents’ information in compliance with HIPAA
• Must have compassion, tolerance and understanding for adults with psychiatric disorders
