Foodservice Equipment Specialist II (WA-Tukwila)

We are seeking a detail-oriented and hands-on Foodservice Equipment Specialist to support our
growing operations across multiple states. This role plays a key part in planning, sourcing,
implementing, and maintaining kitchen and production line equipment for our restaurant and
food manufacturing facilities.

Responsibilities:
Equipment Strategy & Procurement

• Identify issues with kitchen and production equipment; recommend upgrades or replacements
• Source equipment and machinery that meet safety, utility, and operational standards
• Negotiate pricing, manage vendor contracts, and oversee logistics
• Act as the primary liaison with equipment suppliers

• Test equipment in real environments; document performance and ROI
• Develop equipment manual and training materials
• Update and oversee distribution of the manual
• Conduct regular facility visits to identify equipment or process deficiencies and provide on-site training
• Train and educate stakeholders on new equipment installation, operation, and maintenance

Deployment, R&M

• Lead rollout of new equipment and systems, managing budgets and timelines
• Coordinate repairs and warranty claims with vendors and field techs
• Help troubleshoot equipment issues with internal teams and service providers
• Create and manage preventive maintenance schedules

Inventory & Lifecycle Management

• Manage equipment receiving, inventory, and spare parts across states
• Track lifecycle data to plan proactive replacements
• Generate quarterly reports on equipment performance and costs

Specialized Tasks

• Drive R&D of kitchen fixtures and furniture
• Coordinate and support equipment deliveries, installation, and field support to the Project Management team
• Support Operations with equipment inquiries
• Assist with ad hoc facility support

Qualifications:

• Bilingual: Chinese Mandarin (Highly preferred) and English (verbal and written)
• Proven experience with food service equipment, production line machinery, and MEP systems
• Strong project management, vendor negotiation, and documentation skills
• Proficient in MS Office; CAD experience is a plus
• Familiar with international vendors and import logistics is preferred
• Working knowledge of food safety standards (NSF, USDA, FDA) preferred
• Willingness to travel out-of-state and adjust hours to support operations

Job Type: Full-Time

Schedule: Weekday, 40 hours; Flexible schedule between 8 am - 6:30pm
