Job Description

Arundel Ford is currently seeking an experienced and motivated Automotive Service Technician to join our service department. The ideal candidate will have strong diagnostic abilities, a commitment to quality, and the ability to perform both routine maintenance and complex repairs. You’ll work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment with steady work and supportive leadership.

Schedule: Monday to Friday, rotating Saturdays

Responsibilities

• 
  

  Diagnose and repair vehicle issues accurately and efficiently

  
  


• 
  

  Perform maintenance tasks including oil changes, brake jobs, tire rotations, and alignments

  
  


• 
  

  Use diagnostic equipment to identify issues in electrical and mechanical systems

  
  


• 
  

  Communicate with service advisors about repair status and recommendations

  
  


• 
  

  Document services performed and complete repair orders thoroughly

  
  


• 
  

  Follow all safety protocols and manufacturer guidelines

  
  


• 
  

  Maintain a clean, organized, and professional work environment

  
  

Qualifications

• 
  

  2+ years of experience as an automotive technician preferred

  
  


• 
  

  Ford certifications a plus but not required

  
  


• 
  

  Solid understanding of vehicle systems and diagnostics

  
  


• 
  

  Ability to use scan tools and repair software effectively

  
  


• 
  

  Valid driver’s license with clean driving record

  
  


• 
  

  Must be able to pass a background check and drug screening

  Capable of lifting 50+ lbs and handling physical shop demands
