Ford Drivability Technician

We are looking for a Drivability Technician to join our growing team! The right candidate will have a strong service technician background and preferably ASE or Ford certification. The day-to-day duties include performing work on specific repair orders and diagnosing what repairs need to be done.

Responsibilities

• 
  

  Carry out repairs listed on work orders efficiently and following dealership guidelines

  
  


• 
  

  Use specialized diagnostic tools and equipment to test-drive vehicles and assess system performance

  
  


• 
  

  Inspect, troubleshoot, and service a range of automotive systems, including engine, transmission, electrical, suspension, steering, brakes, and HVAC

  
  


• 
  

  Collaborate with the Service Advisor to keep customers updated on additional recommended services and provide accurate timelines for completion

  
  


• 
  

  Complete warranty repairs in compliance with manufacturer standards

  
  

Qualifications

• 
  

  Preferred: 2+ years of hands-on experience as an Automotive Service Technician

  
  


• 
  

  High school diploma or equivalent education required

  
  


• 
  

  ASE or Ford certification is a strong plus

  
  


• 
  

  Prior experience working at a Ford dealership is highly valued

  
  


• 
  

  Proficient at the B level, with capabilities in diagnostics, electrical systems, and engine repair

  
  


• 
  

  Good hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity are essential

  
  


• 
  

  Strong mechanical knowledge and diagnostic ability, including use of advanced diagnostic tools

  
  


• 
  

  Basic computer literacy (typing, Microsoft Office, etc.)

  Strong interpersonal and customer service abilities
