Ensures legal compliance and provides import/export administration and control within government rules and regulations, including appropriate licensing for shipments. Import Operations (FTZ & non‑FTZ) Execute U.S. import operations across FTZ and non‑FTZ shipments. Process inbound shipments per U.S. Customs, FTZ regulations, and internal policies. Manage bonded shipping and receiving, FTZ admissions, removals, and non‑FTZ consumption flows. Coordinate with brokers, carriers, FTZ administrators, and warehouses to ensure timely processing. Import Data Analysis & Reporting Collect and validate import data from brokers, FTZ administrators, and providers. Monitor entry timeliness, inventory accuracy, exception trends, and duty exposure. Develop and maintain dashboards and KPIs for import performance and compliance. Operational Process Improvement Identify process gaps, root causes, and inefficiencies in FTZ and non‑FTZ workflows. Implement corrective actions for customs entries, bonded inventory control, and documentation.Standardize import procedures to improve consistency and compliance. Maintain import SOPs, FTZ manuals, and work instructions. Document end‑to‑end import processes, including broker interactions and inventory movements. Support import and FTZ training with clear documentation. Regulatory & Risk Management Monitor customs entries, bonded filings, FTZ admissions, removals, and AES submissions. Resolve import discrepancies, errors, and data inconsistencies. Support internal controls, audit readiness, and compliance risk mitigation. Strong knowledge of U.S. customs and FTZ regulations; hands-on FTZ administration experience preferred. Proficient in data management, KPI reporting, and analytics to support strategic decisions. Works independently, sets objectives aligned with goals, and applies accurate judgment in selecting solutions. Familiarity with U.S. Customs ACE tool and SAP (ECC and S4/H); advanced Excel and reporting tools preferred. Exceptional verbal and written communication skills; able to engage effectively with all organizational levels. Passion for identifying opportunities, implementing best practices, and driving operational improvements. Bachelor's degree in International Business, Economics, Finance, or closely related field. Five (5) years of experience in a similar role. Licensed Customs Broker (LCB) or Certified Customs Specialist (CCS).
