Foreman in Training

Founded in 1981, Atlas Excavating, Inc., is a family owned and operated site grading and utility contractor dedicated to changing the perception of construction by building with integrity and treating everyone like family.

Due to our continued growth, Atlas Excavating is looking for BCM graduates wanting to work on project sites throughout the Central Indiana area. This position will work with our Foremen to provide technical information to Company Supervisors and Project Managers to ensure work complies with all engineering standards, specifications, design & company processes, assist in evaluating field problems, development of project schedules, contribute to overall site management and quantity tracking for billings.  This position will learn the aspects of being a Project Foreman and Project Manager and is a springboard to these positions.  The position will utilize HCSS HeavyJob, MS Project, ProCore Software and Google Suite. 

Qualifications:

• An Associate or Bachelor’s degree in construction (BSCE, BSCM, BSAE, etc.) or a minimum of three years prior experience in a similar position


• Strong leadership, interpersonal, and communication skills
