Forklift Driver

Shipping & Receiving Job Description:

Responsibilities

• Sorts, unpacks, receives, checks, and stores materials accurately, daily.


• Identify and report discrepancies immediately. • Will work with the ERP system.


• Participate in and coordinate of movement of materials throughout the facility.


• Inspect and maintain viability of stock storage areas.


• Ensure that stocking, staging, and storage areas are safe and clean.


• Sorts, unpacks, receives, checks, and stores materials accurately, daily. • Works with handheld scanning device.


• Replenishes locations multiple times daily to ensure product available for daily production.


• Pulls product accurately with close diligence.


• Ensure that all quality related problems are correct and reported to the supervisor.


• Follows detailed instructions, processes, and procedures.


• Assist with audits/ inventory / cycle counts.


• Know, understand, and follow plant safety rules, policies, and procedures.


• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications for shipping / receiving.

• Experience in working with RF scanners.


• Minimum of one year experience of operating a forklift and have the ability still do so.


• Must be able to lift to up to 50 lbs.


• Basic measuring and math skills required.
