Forklift Operator 1- Overnight Shift

Description

King & Prince Seafood is seeking a dependable and safety-conscious Forklift Operator to join our team on the overnight shift, working Monday through Thursday, 10:00 PM – 8:30 AM, overtime when required.  

The Forklift Operator I is responsible for operating forklifts and pallet jacks to stage and retrieve supplies and materials in a safe, organized, and efficient manner. If you are committed to maintaining a safe workplace and supporting smooth warehouse operations, we encourage you to apply! 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Ensures all transactions are timely and accurate in warehouse management system (WMS)
• Meets performance standards for efficiency and volume
• Maneuvers product in congested areas
• Ensures dock area, warm up room, freezer warehouses, dry and corrugate warehouses are organized and clean
• Moves material between bin locations accurately
• Stores product and raw material
• Loads and unloads containers and trailers
• Pulls product for Production
• Pulls and allocates dry material accurately and timely
• Ensures timely pick-up and delivery of product for internal and external customers
• Complies with company safety, quality, standard operating procedures (SOP), HACCP and good manufacturing practices (GMP) guidelines
• Other duties as assigned

Requirements

• High school diploma or TABE equivalent
• 1 year of forklift experience
• Ability to operate heavy equipment
• Strong math skills
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs. repetitively
• Computer literate
