Position Overview

We are seeking a reliable Forklift Operator/Material Handler to help prepare beams for shipment. You will primarily operate a sit-down forklift to move and stack beams in preparation for loading onto trailers. Overhead or bridge crane experience is a plus. This role requires working outdoors and being flexible with schedule due to frequent overtime.

Duties & Responsibilities

In the Forklift Operator role, you will:

• Safely operate a sit-down forklift to move and stack beams
• Assist with positioning beams for loading (will not be loading them onto trailers)
• Use overhead or bridge crane if applicable (experience preferred, but not required)
• Follow all safety procedures and company policies
• Perform any other duties as assigned

Required Skills & Abilities

• Proven sit-down forklift experience required
• Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions
• Capable of lifting 50 lbs., bending, squatting, kneeling, and standing for extended periods
• Strong attention to safety procedures

Education & Experience

• Previous forklift operating experience
• Overhead or bridge crane experience a plus
• Previous material handling or warehouse experience preferred
• Bilingual a plus

Physical Requirements

• Must be able to lift 30 lbs., bend, squat, kneel, sit, and/or stand for extended periods
