Job Description - Forklift Operator - 1st Shift

Summary:

The QTI Group has some great opportunities with 1st shift hours! A Warehousing team in Horicon is looking for Material Handler/Production worker to join their production department. If you are motivated, hardworking, and have an excellent previous attendance record, apply today!

Hours: Monday - Friday 7:00am-3:30pm
Pay: $18.00/hr
Responsibilities:

Load, unload, stage, and shrink-wrap warehouse items
Monitor finished product quality
Manually load product into creates
Inspect crates, replace damaged cotter pins by pulling old out with a pliers and pushing a new pin into the hole
Use a hand-held hammer to straighten any noticeably bent diagonal supports on the crates and use a hand-held wrench to tighten bolts on the crate
With a hoist to lift and guide a metal crate onto a conveyor that takes the crate automatically through a washer
Lift and place plastic style crates onto the washer conveyor, and then restack on the ground
Qualifications:

Forklift experience in a manufacturing environment would be a plus
Ability to lift up to 50lbs
Able to use hand tools
Other skills: Production Worker, Packager, General Labor, Warehouse
