Forklift Operator Wanted for Metal Stamping Auto Parts Plant2nd ShiftA leading metal stamping and automotive manufacturing company is seeking an experienced Forklift Operator to join their team in Springfield. This is an excellent opportunity for a safety-conscious and detail-oriented individual with forklift operating experience, preferably in an auto plant or manufacturing environment.
Forklift Operator Responsibilities:
- Operate forklift equipment to load, unload, transport and stack materials, products and pallets throughout the metal stamping facility
- Pick up, transport and deliver materials, products and supplies to designated areas safely and efficiently
- Perform pre-and post-operational checks on forklift trucks
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace
- Adhere to all safety regulations and forklift operating procedures
- Load and unload delivery trucks in a timely manner
- Assist with inventory tracking and control
Forklift Operator Requirements:
- Prior forklift operator certification
- Minimum 1 year of forklift operating experience, manufacturing or assembly plant experience preferred
