Job Title: Forklift Operator

Job Description

We're looking for a highly capable Forklift Operator to join our team. In this role, you'll be responsible for operating a 20k lb forklift to move large storage containers weighing up to 10k lbs. Your duties will also include loading and unloading 18-wheelers, stacking and pulling containers up to three containers high. Although there will be a small amount of computer work involved, this can be completed with clipboard/paper inventory. Please note that this is an open-ended contract with the possibility of becoming a direct hire, however, this is not guaranteed.

Job Type

This is a contract position with a duration of 3 Month(s). Eligibility to go direct is dependent on client demand and work performance/attendance etc.

Work Site

This is a fully on-site position in Chattanooga, Tennessee.

Work Environment

This role involves a mix of working outside and inside a warehouse, under a roof in a brand-new facility. The work schedule is from 6am-2:30pm, Tuesday-Saturday. The summer is our busy season. You will typically have two days off a week (Sunday/Monday), but there may be occasions when you are asked to work later or come in on your day off as needed.
