Forklift Operator (Shipping & Receiving)

We are hiring full-time positions (Monday through Friday) offering 40 hours of work per week, 1st shift. BE Power Equipment has an awesome team of people and a great company culture making it easy to wake up and come to work every day!

WHAT YOU’LL DO:

• Operate forklift
• Load and unload inbound and outbound freight from trailers
• Stage and prepare orders for shipment, including palletizing, shrink-wrapping, and labeling
• Meet individual and production deadlines daily
• Keep your work area clean to maintain safety and prevent hazards
• Follow company safety and quality guidelines

WHAT YOU HAVE:

• Minimum of 1–2 years’ experience operating sit-down or stand-up forklifts
• Forklift certified or the experience necessary to become certified.
• Reliable attendance record and strong work ethic in a fast-paced environment
• Able to learn and apply new concepts quickly
• You are comfortable using computers and can navigate systems efficiently
• Able to lift up to 50lbs on a regular and repetitive basis
• Strong command of the English language both written and verbal
• Steel toed shoes/boots are a must, other PPE provided
• Additional duties as needed

• You have a keen eye for detail and care about the accuracy of workmanship.
• You understand the importance of meeting customer expectations and have high standards for "getting it right the first time".
• You have excellent troubleshooting skills and can recommend corrective actions.
• You are an effective communicator and can build effective relationships with others.(employees, leads, supervisors & managers)

• You know how to provide feedback in a respectful and constructive manner.
• You have strong English language skills both verbal & written.

OTHER REQUIREMENTS:

• You are physically fit, energetic and self-motivated.
• You have a “safety first” mindset and understand the importance of upholding safety standards.
• You have experience with continuous improvement initiatives (Lean/Kaizen) and manufacturing concepts.
• You are legally able to work in the USA.
