Forklift Operator-3rd shift

The Forklift Driver is responsible for safely and efficiently operating various types of forklifts and equipment to handle, move, and store materials. This role plays a critical part in order fulfillment, inventory management, and shipping operations while adhering to company policies and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate forklifts, including sit-down forklifts, Isle Masters, and electric pallet jacks, to move and handle materials.
• Perform daily checks on forklifts and other equipment to ensure operational safety and efficiency.
• Maintain current certifications for all required equipment.
• Pick and pack orders accurately based on customer and production requirements.
• Label and stage shipments for loading or delivery according to customer specifications.
• Navigate and process orders through Epicor (or other ERP systems).
• Load and unload trucks, ensuring accuracy and compliance with shipping documentation.
• Handle bin-to-bin transfers and properly document material movement in the system.
• Label and stage shipments according to customer or regulatory requirements.
• Meet special customer requirements, ensuring compliance with unique specifications.

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous forklift operator certification preferred, or willingness to obtain certification.
• Previous experience operating forklifts in a manufacturing setting
• Basic math skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work on a night shift schedule, Sunday through Thursday from 10:30 PM to 7:00 AM.
• Physical ability to lift heavy items (up to 50 lbs.) and stand/walk for extended periods.
