Formulation Technician / Batch Cook — 3RD SHIFT

Since 1905, The Fremont Company has been cooking up the ketchup that ends up on tables across the country. We're looking for a skilled Batch Cook / Formulation Technician to run our third shift and turn raw ingredients into the real deal — batch after batch, night after night. Ketchup experience is a big plus — if you know your way around tomato paste, viscosity, and Brix levels, we want to talk to you.

The Job:

• Cook and mix ketchup batches to exact recipes and specs
• Keep a close eye on temp, viscosity, Brix, and consistency — precision matters
• Follow GMP/HACCP food safety standards to the letter
• Catch equipment issues before they become problems
• Keep batch records tight and accurate
• Team up with QA and production to hit quality and yield goals

You've Got:

• Ketchup or tomato-based product manufacturing experience (strongly preferred)
• Experience in food manufacturing or batch processing more broadly also welcome
• A steady hand with recipes, ratios, and measurements
• The ability to work independently overnight and think on your feet
• Sharp attention to detail and a safety-first attitude

Shift: Third shift, 10:00 PM – 6:00 AM
