Numeric is building the modern accounting & finance platform. Companies today depend on Numeric's workflow and data platform to collaborate, monitor and analyze data, and share insights about their financials.

We believe an organization with up-to-date, accurate, rich financial data is empowered to move faster and smarter. Unfortunately, the tools and systems have not been keeping up. The complexity of work and granularity of data has ballooned and old, slow software and simplistic tools only facilitate the manual work; they do little to solve the fundamental challenges of accounting and finance.

About the role

As Numeric rapidly grows, we're seeking a Founding Recruiter to lead our recruitment efforts and define excellence in our talent function. You will develop our hiring framework and collaborate directly with our founders. We value a collaborative, team-oriented approach and are looking for a self-starter who is an expert problem solver, clear communicator, and quick learner.

What you'll do

  • Strategic Talent Acquisition: Develop and execute recruiting strategies that attract a diverse pool of top-tier candidates. Focus on creating a fast and efficient hiring process that provides candidates with a first rate experience.

  • Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with our leadership team to understand departmental needs and future hiring goals. Act as a partner to teams, ensuring alignment on the qualifications, culture fit, and potential of candidates.

  • Enhance Candidate Experience: Manage the end-to-end candidate experience with the mindset of crafting engaging and communicative interactions. Reflect our value of trust and autonomy by ensuring candidates feel informed and valued throughout the process.

  • Build Recruitment Frameworks: Establish scalable recruitment systems and metrics to assess effectiveness. Leverage data-driven insights to optimize hiring practices and reduce time-to-hire.

  • Promote Employer Brand: Actively work on strengthening our employer brand in the market. Utilize innovative methods to showcase our culture, benefits, and unique opportunities at industry events, social media, and other relevant platforms.

What you'll bring

  • Proven Recruitment Expertise: You have at least 3 years of experience in recruitment, with a proven track record recruiting technical talent in a startup or tech-focused environment.

  • Adaptability and Speed: Your ability to adapt to evolving business needs and a high-speed work environment will be crucial. You bring a proactive, agile approach to recruitment.

  • Strong Communication Skills: Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with an emphasis on thoughtful, clear, and persuasive messaging.

  • Leadership Qualities: As a founding member of the recruitment team, you will lead by example, demonstrating high levels of integrity, initiative, and foresight.
