Foundry Supervisor, 2nd Shift

Description

This position directs shift operations, ensuring safety and quality, while meeting or exceeding favorably to the operating budget of the Cleaning Room. This position manages Cleaning Room employees to guarantee castings are being processed properly so that they are of excellent quality and they are shipped on time. The Shift Supervisor understands and follows all safety procedures and confirms staff understands and follows them while maintaining an environment where employees are comfortable with reporting incidents. Improving the Manufacturing process by continuous improvements through Kaizen and six sigma events and improving quality and lowering costs are also responsibilities of this role.

Requirements

The ideal candidate will have foundry work experience, working with multiple types of equipment, understanding of sand foundry operations and 5+ years of supervisory experience with strong communication skills.
