As we expand our operations, we’re seeking a strategic and analytical Director of FP&A to lead financial planning, forecasting, and performance analysis across the organization. |
Position Summary |
The Director of FP&A will play a critical leadership role in driving financial strategy, managing budgeting and forecasting processes, and delivering insights that support decision-making across all business units. This individual will work closely with the CFO, CAO, and operational leaders to guide strategic planning and optimize financial performance. |
Key Responsibilities |
Lead the annual budgeting and quarterly forecasting processes across all business units (sales, leasing, service, and parts). |
Develop and maintain financial models to support strategic initiatives and scenario planning. |
Analyze financial and operational performance, identify trends, and provide actionable insights. |
Partner with department leaders to align financial plans with business objectives. |
Prepare and present monthly and quarterly dashboards, KPIs, and variance analyses to executive leadership. |
Support M&A activity, capital planning, and investment analysis. |
Collaborate with the accounting team to ensure alignment between actuals and forecasts. |
Drive continuous improvement in FP&A processes, tools, and systems. |
Ensure data integrity and consistency across reporting platforms and dashboards. |
Qualifications |
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field; MBA or CPA preferred. |
6+ years of progressive FP&A experience, including at least 2 years in a leadership role. |
Strong financial modeling, forecasting, and strategic planning skills. |
Industry experience in dealerships, leasing, equipment rental, or similar asset-based businesses preferred. |
Proficiency in financial systems and tools (Excel, Power BI, Adaptive Insights, etc.). |
Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to influence senior stakeholders. |
Proven leadership and team development capabilities. |
