We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented FP&A Analyst Intern to join our finance team. As an intern, you will gain hands-on experience in financial planning, analysis, and reporting. You'll work closely with our FP&A professionals, contributing to critical projects and learning about the intricacies of financial management.

Responsibilities

- **Financial Analysis**: Assist in analyzing key performance indicators (KPIs), including sales, expenses, and profit margins. Identify trends and unexpected variances.

- **Budgeting and Forecasting**: Collaborate on budget preparation, financial projections, and operating forecasts. Help refine existing models and develop new ones.

- **Monthly Closing Processes**: Support the monthly or quarterly financial closing processes by reviewing historical cost data and ensuring accuracy.

- **Ad-Hoc Reporting**: Generate ad-hoc business performance reports as needed.

- **Process Optimization**: Participate in discussions to propose and implement process improvements within the FP&A function.

Qualifications

- Currently pursuing a degree in finance, accounting, or a related field.

- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.

- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial modeling.

- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.

- Minimum GPA of 3.0 preferred.

Compensation

This is a paid internship position. $21.00/hour
