  • Support onboarding, orientation, and ongoing professional development activities.

  • Ensure medical services are effectively integrated within the organization's comprehensive care model.

  • Facilitate provider meetings and encourage collaboration among clinical teams.

  • Conduct or delegate regular medical record reviews to ensure quality care and documentation compliance.

  • Provide oversight and supervision of Advanced Practice Providers, including Nurse Practitioners and Physician Assistants, as applicable.

  • Serve as a clinical resource to providers and interdisciplinary teams.

Administrative Leadership

  • Develop, review, and approve medical policies, procedures, and clinical protocols.

  • Monitor healthcare trends, regulations, and industry best practices to ensure compliance and operational excellence.

  • Participate in strategic planning, goal development, and organizational initiatives.

  • Review clinical service agreements and patient care contracts.

  • Serve as a liaison between medical staff and organizational leadership.

  • Represent the organization at hospitals, professional associations, community organizations, and medical societies.

  • Provide recommendations regarding professional fee schedules and service delivery models.

  • Participate in budget planning, monitoring, and resource allocation activities.

Quality & Performance Improvement

  • Lead quality improvement initiatives and ensure compliance with CARF standards, state regulations, federal requirements, and payer expectations.

  • Review patient satisfaction results and identify opportunities for service enhancements.

  • Address patient complaints related to medical services and support resolution efforts.

  • Monitor quality metrics, clinical outcomes, and documentation standards.

  • Promote continuous improvement and evidence-based practice throughout the organization.

Culture & Mission

  • Foster a supportive, collaborative, and patient-focused clinical environment.

  • Promote ethical medical practice and compliance with all applicable laws, regulations, and organizational policies.

  • Maintain confidentiality and safeguard protected health information.

  • Support organizational initiatives that advance the mission, vision, and values of the health center.
