About the Role
The Company is seeking a Fractional CFO to provide part-time financial leadership to the organization. The successful candidate will be responsible for multi-site financial management, particularly in the context of a company that oversees numerous practices. This role is crucial during the sales process, requiring preparation for sale, financial package development, and extensive support during due diligence. The CFO will take over the financial reins of the business for an expected 6-9 month period and must be available to start by the first week of May. Experience in a similar capacity, especially within the healthcare or retail sector, and a strong background in accounting, Excel, and QuickBooks are essential. The ideal candidate will be a high performer capable of independent work and will have a proven track record in FP&A processes and procedures.Applicants for the Fractional CFO position at the company must have a Bachelor's degree and a minimum of 10 years of experience, with a preference for those with a background in practice management and experience in a private equity-backed environment. The role demands an expert level of proficiency in Excel and QuickBooks, as well as a deep understanding of FP&A. The CFO will be expected to work on-site as needed and should be adept at handling the financial demands of a multi-faceted, multi-site business. The position requires a candidate who can operate at an executive level with minimal oversight and is comfortable with the intensive financial requirements of a company in preparation for a sale.
