Job Description - Franchise Sales Director, Transfers

Position Summary


Franchise Sales professional specializing in resale and transfer transactions. Experienced in prospecting, lead follow-up, franchisee retention, and guiding candidates through complex transfer processes. Proven ability to manage forecasts, support contract execution, and build strong pipelines through strategic relationship management and territory travel.


Responsibilities



  • Market and prospect Resale/Transfer Opportunities: Obtaining a signed listing agreement and executing a strategy to find buyers (First and existing franchisees)

  • Timely follow-up on nationally generated leads to drive resale opportunities.

  • Maintain database of existing franchisees interested in growth through resales.

  • Guide candidates through the franchise transfer process, including collection and review of all required documentation.

  • Support franchise retention initiatives for schools not currently listed for sale.

  • Prepare and submit weekly sales forecasts to leadership.

  • Travel within territory to prospect, qualify candidates, and support deal development.

  • Coordinate contract development, processing, and execution for resale transactions

  • CRM Management: Maintaining the integrity of CRM data, ensuring accurate information for analysis.

  • Cross-functional Collaboration: Working with marketing, Finance and sales teams

  • Facilitate Buyer approval: Facilitate buyer approval (Disclosure, Financial and Operational)


Minimum Requirements



  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Finance, or a related field or equivalent professional experience

  • At least 3 years of experience in franchise development, sales, business development, real estate, or resales/transfers

  • Proven ability to prospect, qualify leads, and manage a sales pipeline

  • Experience guiding candidates through complex transaction processes and required documentation

  • Strong follow-up, organizational, and CRM/database management skills

  • Proficiency in data analysis tools and CRM systems

  • Excellent communication and presentation skills to convey insights effectively

  • Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams


 


There will be periodic requirements to travel for in-person events, at the discretion of your manager or the requirement of the company.
