Franchise Transactional Specialist

We are hiring a Franchise Transactional Specialist to handle contract support for new licenses and the transfer of existing franchise licenses by franchisees across all ServiceMaster brands. In this role you will consult with various stakeholders, including Franchise Development, Accounting and Operations, to ensure that new franchise licenses are processed in a timely manner; develop strong relationships to foster a collaborative approach to transactions.

What you will do:

  • Ensure compliance with all state and federal franchise regulations applicable to new licenses and all transactions.
  • Prepare compliance notices and track the event through the compliance process.
  • Update and maintain databases and prepare reports for internal clients.
  • Successfully communicate and work with franchisees and internal departments to perform responsibilities.
  • Work to clarify and improve procedures for transactions and compliance processes.
  • Train incoming staff on the processes for contract support and updates to the databases.
  • Meet monthly departmental goals and activity metric expectations set by management.
  • Interface with others in a professional manner and be a trusted go to person.
  • Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

What you will bring:

  • Proven experience in franchise administration or contract management, preferably in-house for a franchisor.
  • Bachelor’s Degree preferred
  • Experience with CRM systems.
  • Creative problem-solving skills, excellent organization and planning skills, sound judgment and the ability to make decisions.
  • Ability to deal with constantly shifting priorities, multiple tasks, and deadlines in a fast-paced and confidential working environment.
  • Strong professional verbal and written communication skills are critical, including the ability to interact effectively with people at all levels of the organization.
  • Customer focused with excellent customer relations/service skills, with the ability to keep assertiveness and empathy in balance when negotiating.
  • Highly organized and detail oriented.
  • Self-starter. Ability to work autonomously with little support.
  • High computer literacy including strong experience with Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel and Outlook is required.
  • Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines.
