Position Overview

VDA is seeking a detail-oriented Freelance Graphics Processor to support our Creative Team in preparation for late summer events. This is an entry-level, contract-based position ideal for individuals looking to gain hands-on experience in event graphics production.

Contract Duration: Week of July 21 – September 16
Weekly Hours: Approx. 15–30 hours/week (flexible, workload dependent)
Work Structure: Remote start; in-office required mid-August through September
Preferred Workdays: Tuesday–Thursday (negotiable)
Travel: Optional opportunity to travel out-of-state to assist with onsite graphics installation

Primary Responsibilities

• Use Adobe Illustrator to assist with file proofing and asset setup
   
• Conduct quality control checks on digital assets and physical prints
   
• Create proof packets using PowerPoint or Google Slides
   
• Prep final files for print production
   
• Generate basic graphics as needed
   
• Organize and catalog graphics for onsite installation
   
• Support onsite graphics management with the Lead Installer (if traveling)
   
• Lift and handle graphics materials (up to 30 lbs)
   

Additional Responsibilities

• Assist with rendering to produce accurate visuals for proofing and final allocations
   
• Follow rendering guidelines to meet visual and branding standards
   
• Collaborate closely with the Creative and Graphics teams for cross-checking and approvals
   

Training & Support

• Training will be provided to support rendering and program requirements
   
• Hands-on guidance from the Graphics Lead to ensure file and process standards are met
   

Required Skills & Tools

• Proficiency in Adobe Suite (especially Illustrator)
   
• Experience with Google Sheets / Google Slides
   
• Working knowledge of Microsoft PowerPoint
   
• Excellent attention to detail and communication skills
