Freestyle Training Center Guest Services Crew

Description

  *This is a summer position starting in June and ending at the end of July.

General Guest service and interaction in FTC Terrain Parks. Crowd control, Ticket checking, Entry gate and line monitoring, risk management awareness education, Freestyle Terrain etiquette and guest relations.

Requirements

· Ticket checking at entry gates, assist with sign and fencing set up. 

· Welcoming park guests at the main gate and Super Pipe gate. 

· Overseeing/installing/monitoring landing bags. 

· Helping with rope tow lines and ticket checking. 

· Supporting other various park operations. 

· Communication/Collaboration with park staff Lift operations and Ski Patrol. 

· Monitoring and Encouraging responsible park and mountain etiquette.

· Maintaining General area cleanliness and organization.

· Installing/removing signage and fences.   

· Guest relations and education within the Terrain parks, and throughout the ski area when needed. 

· Regular and reliable attendance.

QUALIFICATIONS: 

· Must abide by all requirements set forth in Timberline Employee Handbook.

· Must be self motivated and able to work with all departments.

· Must be able to communicate effectively.

· Must present a mature, professional and positive attitude at all times. 

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: 

· Must be a minimum Type II (Intermediate) skier, able to ski in all adverse weather and hill conditions. 

· Must be in good physical condition, able to perform strenuous work outside in all adverse weather conditions. 

· Must be flexible and capable of bending, twisting and kneeling.

· Must be able to work on feet, stand, and walk for the duration of shift.  

· Must be able to keep up with pace of department/position demands.   

· Must be able to lift 80lbs and carry 40lbs while skiing.

· Must be able to work in tight space with balance and poise. 

· Must be able to work scheduled shifts and additional shifts when needed. 

· Must be able to work for extended periods of time.
