Schedule: Monday- Friday, 9:00am- Until work is complete

Compensation: $22-$24 per hour DOE

Position Overview: 

The Operations Lead is responsible for performing the functions and accountabilities required in various warehouse operations roles including: Order Selector, Bulk/Dry Goods Receiver, Inventory Control Associate and office coordinator positions and supporting the Warehouse Management Team with training, leading and directing other warehouse personnel in the absence of management and when required by the Warehouse Manager.

Summary of Essential Functions: 

• Read work orders and receive verbal instruction for work assignments including but not limited to performing the Essential Functions and Accountabilities and Supporting Activities of Receiver, Breakdown Put Away, Aisle Captain and Office Coordinator roles as required (see applicable Job Descriptions) and when needed
• Support the Warehouse Management Team in leading by example, motivating and inspiring the warehouse employees to maintain high performance and safety standards
• Receive and perform cleaning/leveling assignments
• Maintain a clean and organized work space
• Perform functions, accountabilities and supporting activities while complying with safety procedures, rules and regulations

Requirements

• This position requires the candidate to be assigned to the walk-in freezer. This requires the ability to work in temperatures at or below -5 degrees F for long periods of time while wearing required personal protective equipment provided by the company
• Experience in safely operating warehouse equipment (e.g. forklift, pallet jack, high reach truck), preferred
• Candidate must have the ability to read, write and understand English, including identifying numbers
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Willing and able to make decisions within the Team Leader area of responsibility (leading by example, delegating work, evaluating performance, motivating, training employees, etc.)
• Candidate must have reliable transportation, flexible schedule, solid attendance and a positive, professional attitude and demonstrated ability to lead a team through motivation and mentoring
