Job Description - Freight Broker

Our Company, YES! Logistics, is a leading logistics company specializing in transportation. We are committed to delivering exceptional service to our clients worldwide.

Qualifications:

Minimum of 5 years of experience in the freight brokerage industry with a transferable Book of Business.
Proficient in freight brokerage operations, with a focus on obtaining shipping quotes, booking freight services, and monitoring shipments.
Familiarity with logistics software, customer relationship management software, and spreadsheets.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with carriers and clients globally.
Proven sales skills to acquire new clients and carriers and close shipping deals.
Ability to work with existing Book of Business and enhance client relationships.

Job Duties:

Obtain shipping quotes from carriers and communicate them to clients.
Book freight services through carriers for clients, ensuring prompt and efficient delivery.
Monitor shipment progress to guarantee timely and undamaged delivery of goods.
Update customer management software to maintain accurate client records.
Utilize negotiation skills to secure competitive quotes for customers.
