Job Description - French Speaking Customer Service for Insurance industry

Mercier Consultancy MD is thrilled to offer an exciting opportunity for French Speaking Customer Service Representatives in the Insurance industry. This role is ideal for individuals who are passionate about helping others and have a keen interest in insurance products and services. As a customer service representative, you will assist clients in navigating their insurance needs while providing exceptional service in French.


Key Responsibilities

  • Handle customer inquiries related to insurance policies, claims, and coverage options via phone, email, and live chat in French.
  • Provide comprehensive information about insurance products, policy details, and claims processes.
  • Assist customers with claim submissions and resolve any issues that arise during the claims process.
  • Address customer complaints and inquiries with a focus on achieving satisfaction and solution-oriented outcomes.
  • Document all customer interactions accurately in the CRM system for future reference and compliance purposes.
  • Work collaboratively with underwriting and claims teams to ensure a seamless customer experience.
  • Stay informed about industry regulations and changes to provide accurate advice to customers.
  • Fluency in French (both written and spoken) is essential; knowledge of English is a plus.
  • Experience in customer service, preferably in the insurance industry.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to explain complex information clearly and empathetically.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the capability to handle sensitive customer situations.
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills to manage multiple inquiries effectively.
  • Proficiency in using CRM systems and general computer applications.
  • Flexibility to work varying shifts, including evenings and weekends as necessary.
