In this vital role, you will oversee the daily operations of our fresh foods departments, ensuring high standards of quality, freshness, and customer satisfaction while driving sales growth and innovation.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the fresh foods departments, focusing on quality control, merchandising, and customer experience.
• Develop and implement strategies to improve product offerings and increase sales performance.
• Maintain compliance with health and safety regulations and ensure highest quality standards.
• Train and mentor departmental staff to enhance their skills and promote professional growth.
• Oversee inventory management, including ordering, receiving, and stock control.
• Collaborate with suppliers and vendors to secure the best fresh produce and other items.
• Analyze market trends and competitor offerings to stay ahead in the industry.

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in grocery retail management or related field.
• Proven track record of leading teams and managing department operations.
• In-depth knowledge of fresh foods, including merchandising and inventory management.
• Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Flexibility to work varied hours, including weekends and holidays.
