Fright Fest Set-Up Crew (Ages 16+) - Seasonal Job

Summary of Job: Assist with the set up and the maintenance of theaters, scare zones, and haunted attractions throughout the park for Fright Fest.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Assist in all Fright Fest set-up with the ability to set up and maintain all décor including props, lights, and set pieces


• Maintain a focus on attention to detail


• Work as a team, collaborate, follow written and verbal directions, and take initiative


• Adhere to all department and company safety policies; wear appropriate safety equipment as needed


• Maintain overall daily cleanliness, safety, and operational efficiency


• Will be occasionally operating man lifts and other machinery


• Will be required to complete a fall protection course


• Will be required to complete a general lift operator safety course


• Will be working with minor electrical equipment


• May be asked to help maintain the look of all areas during the run of Fright Fest


• Must be able to preserve confidential information


• Work around common allergens (pollen, dust, hay, straw, corn, latex, etc.)

Skills and Qualifications:

• Must be at least 16 years of age with weekday availability


• Those 18 and older may be required to drive company vehicles pending background check, drivers safety course, and possession of a valid US Driver's License


• Must be able to complete job duties including climbing, kneeling, working in dark or confined spaces, lifting up to 60lbs. and working in heights up to 60ft


• Must be able to operate staple guns and wire snips


• Must be able to work efficiently while being attentive to detail


• Must maintain a positive work environment


• Must be able to confidently troubleshoot problems and identify solutions to positively affect progress


• Must be able to handle stressful situations


• Must have strong work ethic and communication skills


• Must be able to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays


• Must be willing to work outdoors in various weather conditions


• Must be professional, self-motivated, the ability to multi-task and have an enthusiastic attitude


• Must have strong teamwork skills and the ability to work with others

Other Functions: All other duties assigned or necessary to support the park as a whole.
