Job Description - Front Desk Agent

Description

Saucon Valley Country Club is seeking a friendly, professional, and dedicated Front Desk Agent to join our team and work at our  Historic Guest House and newly constructed cottages.  As the first point of contact for our members and their guests, you will play a key role in creating a welcoming and memorable experience.

  •  Process guest check-ins and room assignments. Accommodate special requests when possible.  
  • Effectively communicate guest preferences, requests, and any special needs to housekeeping, maintenance, and other departments to ensure guest satisfaction.
  • Process check-in/check-out and collect payments in compliance with cash handling, credit card processing and accounting policies and procedures. 
  • Answer inquiries about services, Club events, directions, local attractions, etc. Assist guests with additional guest room keys, transportation, etc.
  • Address and resolve guest complaints or concerns in a calm and professional manner. Seek out management assistance when needed for more complex situations.
  • Cancel room  reservations according to policies and procedures.
  • Ensure release of any Club and guest information is consistent with privacy policies, practices and regulations. 
  • Keep the front desk area organized and presentable.
  • Consistent professional and positive attitude and actions when communicating with guests and co-workers.
  • Comply with policies and procedures. Practice safe work habits and comply with sanitary, safety, security and emergency      procedures. 

Requirements

  •  High school diploma or equivalent (some college or hospitality degree is a plus).
  • Previous experience in hospitality or customer service is preferred.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
  • Professional appearance and demeanor.
  • Proficiency with hotel management software and basic office equipment.
  • Ability to work flexible shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
