Job Description - Front Desk Agent




We are hiring for a Front Desk Agent to join a prestigious luxury hotel located in Birmingham. This is a fantastic opportunity to be the face of a high-end property known for elegance, outstanding service, and an unforgettable guest experience. As a Front Desk Agent, you will play a vital role in welcoming guests, managing check-in and check-out processes, and ensuring each stay exceeds expectations through friendly, professional service.



Salary: $15.00/hr - Paid Weekly



Front Desk Responsibilities:



  • Greet and welcome guests in a warm and professional manner.

  • Manage the check-in and check-out process efficiently.

  • Answer phone calls, respond to guest inquiries, and handle requests with promptness and courtesy.

  • Provide accurate information about the hotel, local attractions, and services.

  • Process payments and maintain accurate records using hotel systems.

  • Coordinate with other departments to fulfill guest needs.

  • Handle guest complaints or concerns with a problem-solving mindset.

  • Maintain a clean and organized front desk area.



Front Desk Qualifications:



  • Previous front desk or customer service experience in a hotel or hospitality setting preferred.

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

  • Professional appearance and demeanor.

  • Ability to multitask and remain calm under pressure.

  • Familiarity with hotel management software (OnQ or similar) is a plus.

  • Availability to work flexible shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
