Job Description - Front Desk Agent



As a Front Desk Agent at Marriott Orlando Downtown, you will be the welcoming face for our guests, providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a smooth check-in and check-out experience. You will play a key role in creating a memorable stay for each guest by efficiently handling reservations, addressing inquiries, and assisting with guest requests in a friendly and professional manner.


Responsibilities



  • Greet and welcome guests upon arrival with a warm and friendly attitude

  • Manage guest check-in and check-out processes efficiently and accurately

  • Handle guest reservations, cancellations, and modifications promptly

  • Provide guests with information about hotel services, local attractions, and dining options

  • Respond to guest inquiries and resolve any complaints or issues professionally

  • Maintain accurate records of guest accounts and payments

  • Work closely with housekeeping and maintenance teams to ensure guest satisfaction

  • Adhere to all hotel policies and procedures to maintain security and safety standards


Requirements



  • Previous experience in front desk or customer service roles preferred

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail

  • Ability to multitask and stay calm under pressure

  • Proficiency with hotel management software is a plus

  • Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays

  • High school diploma or equivalent
